Friends of Riley NICU Fundraising 2015, December 31, 2015
Friends of Riley is a network of young professionals (ages 21 – 40) committed to supporting the Riley Children’s Foundation through active fundraising, volunteerism, networking and education. The group seeks to engage other young professionals in support of the Foundation and its projects: Riley Hospital for Children, Camp Riley for Youth with Physical Disabilities, and the James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home. The organization will provide a means of developing/growing a relationship with the Riley Children’s Foundation at an early age that will continue throughout the life of our members.
Our Mission Statement - To provide for the health and well-being of children through support of the Riley Children’s Foundation and the work of Riley Hospital and Camp Riley
The group will engage individuals by providing activities that are fun, social and productive for making friends and connections while raising funds and awareness for Riley. The group will build, nurture and grow new and/or existing affinities for Riley.
Thank you for supporting Friends of Riley as we strive to help Riley kids and families. This year, FOR’s fundraising efforts will provide families in the NICU with comfort programs including welcome bags, memory keepsake supplies, an in-hospital baby shower, and more. These items provide families with a sense of comfort and support since most arrive at Riley Hospital’s NICU unexpectedly, often staying for weeks and months at a time.
