Starting junior year of high school, I had a passion for Dance Marathon and all it had to offer. As the total was revealed, I was overwhelmed with how much we had to contribute to pediatric research locally! I wanted to be a huge part of it! Senior year came along and I jumped on the executive committee ready to share my ideas and contribute my blood, sweat, and tears to this event. The big day finally came around and once I saw the final total, I saw it reflected all of the hard work and dedication that every single person on the committee had put in over the past year. It was astounding to participate in research just weeks later at the Wells Center and see where all our hard earned donations went to. Studies and experiments were being run for groundbreaking discoveries that could not have been possible without the help of Dance Marathons across the nation!!
Participating in Dance Marathon has inspired me not only in my campus involvement, but later on in my career choice. I aspire to work at Riley Hospital for Children to put the hard earned donation dollars to work! I cannot wait until the day I get to work in the Wells Center and Riley to help cure children of their illnesses and diseases.
This year, I am proud to announce that I am the chair for Dancer Communications for Jagathon! Jagathon is the largest student organization on IUPUI's campus and we raise money for pediatric research at Riley Hospital for Children! We need your help to raise this money, and every little bit counts!
